Dr Nick Singh is Compound Semiconductor Applications (CSA) Catapult’s CTO since January 2023. His teams are working on commercialising compound semiconductor applications in NetZero, Future Telecoms, Quantum Photonics and Sensing. Prior to that, Nick was CTO of PhotonFirst, a Dutch pioneer in photonics integrated chips (PIC) sensing technologies. He has been a CTO of two technology startups. Nick also held Group CTO position with Scienta Scientific where his teams worked on pioneering developments in Graphene, OLEDs, XPS and Flexible Electronics. He was also with Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology overseeing new product and process developments in deposition and etching of semiconductors.
