As Global VP Nutrition and Icecream S&T, Manfred oversees the development and application of science and technology across the foods and ice-cream business, with teams in the UK and The Netherlands.
He is Site Leader of the Unilever Global Foods Innovation Centre “Hive”, in the heart of the Dutch Food Valley, Wageningen and Non-Executive Director of Unilever Netherlands Holdings B.V.
He is the Chair of the Next Food Collective, Board Member of the Top Sector (TKI) Agrifood, and Member of the Technical Comittee of VNO/NCW.
Manfred holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence.
