Description

Boundaries /ˈbound(ə)rē/: A line that marks the limits of an entity (technology) or between entities (ecosystem).

Fading boundaries consistently signal transformative change. This is evident in various manifestations, such as the dissolution of the lines surrounding technologies and between ecosystems.

This presentation will cover the capabilities of silicon photonics to not only address the insatiable needs for high speed, power efficient data transmission of today but also of the future.

A vibrant ecosystem is key to the adoption of a technology. A nascent but growing ecosystem is developing around Silicon Photonics. This ecosystem is key to unlocking the full potential of this technology for high volume adoption. The presentation will address the challenges but also the promise of this ecosystem.
